Since 2019, we’ve been running The Dunvegan, a unique hospitality business built with heart, purpose, and resilience. From navigating Covid and Brexit to the rising costs of living and global uncertainty, we’ve chosen not to compromise on our values or our commitment to people and the planet.

Positions Available

We are currently looking to recruit for the following positions:

• Manager (full-time) – “Get involved” Team player (not ivory tower overseer), who will work alongside our Operations Manager to manage the different aspects of our business
• Seasonal Worker (up to full-time) – working in a fun-loving but professional & experienced team. Experience is not essential, although always helpful. Full training will be provided.
• Housekeeper (part-time) – working to maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the business including the turnover of our 6 rooms.
• Kitchen Porter / Assistant (part-time) – the position involves using a pass-thru dishwasher to wash pots & crockery, helping with the preparation of vegetables, recycling, composting and any other general kitchen work. This is a great position to learn about the kitchen and there is always scope for development in the kitchen team and learning new things.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re on the hunt for someone who’s:

• Experienced in hospitality 
• Has a great eye for detail
• Brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a can-do attitude
• Open to learning across all areas – whether it’s housekeeping, helping out in the kitchen, or greeting guests front-of-house
• Passionate about creating meaningful, low-impact experiences for our guests

Bonus Points If You Love:

• Gardening, growing your own veg, pickling, or composting
• Interested in great food & drink 
• A good flat white (our coffee shop serves Maude & Dear Green with the island’s best barista)
• Local art, vintage furniture, lush houseplants, or a solid Ercol chair
• Working somewhere that values authenticity over aesthetics, craft over convenience
