To address the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic we have implemented a range of measures to keep you and our team safe, including:
Social Distancing – we have implemented social distancing measures throughout the building, in accordance with current Scottish Government guidelines.
Track & Trace – is mandatory for every visit
Eat & Drink with Us
Cafe & Restaurant – all our tables have been physically spaced 2 metres apart in accordance with Government and industry guidelines.
Increased Cleaning & Disinfecting – we’ve increased the frequency of cleaning & disinfecting throughout the public area of The Dunvegan. This includes the regular use during the day of a ULV fogging machine deploying an environmentally friendly and safe mist that kills viruses and bacteria on surfaces, walls and handles, etc. Housekeeping & front of house staff are tasked with cleaning routines throughout the day
Air circulation – doors & windows are strategically left open to increase natural air circulation and ventilation in public spaces
Toilets – are cleaned between each visit
Sanitising Stations – we’ve placed hand sanitiser and/or wipes around the public areas of The Dunvegan.
Team Member PPE – Gloves, face coverings, their own sanitising spray and other personal protective equipment are issued to all members of the team
Team Member Training – All members of the team have undertaken advanced food hygiene training and will receive regular, ongoing training
Garden Tables – we have provided outdoor picnic benches should you wish to eat or drink outside.
Limited numbers – across the cafe/restaurant and in the Deli-shop
Accommodation @ The Dunvegan
Guest PPE – A custom sanitisation pack, containing face masks, gloves & wipes will be offered to all accommodation guests on arrival.
Guest Room Cleaning – guest rooms are deep cleaned in accordance with industry guidelines after every stay, using a detailed checklist
Reduced In-Room Amenities – we have removed “high touch” items from rooms, and will re-introduce them, when it is safe to
Linen – all linens are washed at an optimal temperature of 60+ degrees
